Where is a good place to get classic car insurance that will let me commute - not only use the car for shows? Most insurance that I'm looking into for classic cars are not willing to insure your car if you commute to work and school. They only want to insure cars that are used in shows, parades, etc. I will not drive my car every single day to work...maybe a few times during the week. I bought the car to enjoy it, not let it sit in the garage!- Pam

Justin,

I am not the owner just the webmaster and I don't know the answer to your question about how to start an old engine. The owner bought it from the original owner in Georgia where it had been stored in a barn for 20 years. All I can tell you is that this one runs perfectly. I don't think he had to do anything other than the few things mentioned.

Hi Rich,

Did the owner store it for 20 yrs or did he buy it having been stored so long? Reason I ask is I bought this car's Kansas built California Twin after it sat for 25 years. I don't want to tear up the motor by starting it improperly, do you or the owner know how to revive this car? I am going to replace the fuel & lines, but what else for a garage/barn car, do you know? Jrocker152@gmail.com

Great car, would buy if I didn't already have one. Mine sold to me for $500 as it does not run, had four flats, and needed to be moved within a week of listing. Truly this car is worth much more than 5 grand, Surprised seeing it's cond. put a new hood on & it's perfect- like mine with a good motor! Again did you make the motor good or do you have any tips on how to do so?
